SACROPLASTY

Picture
As with Vertebroplasty and Kyphoplasty, Sacroplasty is a surgical intervention that uses bone cement to stabilize fractures of the sacrum.  The cement is introduced into the sacrum through the skin, directly into the bone.  The goal is to reduce pain caused by the fracture.
